MA in Creative Writing & Literature
for educators

Students holding undergraduate degrees from an accredited four-year institution in the United States or abroad may apply for admission to this program. Applicants to the MA Creative Writing & Literature must submit three (3) copies of a personal statement. The statement should discuss teaching and writing objectives and provide any information about relevant work experience that the applicant believes the admission committee might find helpful.
 
Your name must appear on the top right of every page. All manuscripts must be typewritten or computer generated. Handwritten manuscripts cannot be accepted.
 
A writing sample of fiction, non-fiction, poetry or dramatic work is optional as are letters of recommendation.
 
Preference for admission will be given to accredited teachers.
 
The application deadline for enrollment in the Fall class (which begins with the June residency) is April 1.
